Susan Boyle Moves The Nation Video

On Saturday 11th April 2009 Susan Boyle blew away a huge UK TV audience. She walked on the stage of the UK entertainment show "Britain's Got Talent" masterminded by the legendary Simon "Funny Trousers" Cowell. She answered "Susan Boyle" when asked her name and went on to say she would like to be seen as another Elaine Paige...

The reactions to her performance on Britain's Got Talent can be clearly seen on the online video of Susan performing. Not only were audience members sniggering at her pre-performance answers to the panel, but that bloke from Norway, Bjorn Morgan, sniggered along with them.

Dani Minogue, who sure looked different to me wearing a green dress and a new ginger hairstyle, was equally as perplexed as Morgan prior to Susan Boyle hitting the first note of Les Miserables "I Have Dream".

The Susan Boyle Video of her Britains Got Talent performance has now been viewed millions of times in less than 5 days. It left Simon Cowell wondering how quickly he could make another few million from this previously undiscovered talent.

Susan Boyle, the new Britain's got Talent Superstar, is single and almost 48 years of age. Nearly 48! She doesn't have a boyfriend (Yet). She talked with Ant and Dec and said that she had never even been kissed.

So, she walked on the stage, told the judges that she would love to be in Musical Theatre. When asked the question she said that she would love to be like Elaine Paige. Simon Cowell and half the nation smirked.

NOW WHAT HAPPENED NEXT IS QUITE SIMPLY JAW DROPPING...

Susan Boyle started to sing, within half a second the judges' jaws started to drop in amazement. In fact, you could hear Simon Cowell's jaw as it clanged on the table in front of him. Susan Boyle has the voice of an angel. Singing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables, both the audience and the judges were left stunned. As she finished her song, she received a standing ovation from the audience and that funny bloke Morgan Pierson or whatever he's called.

She received very complimentary words from the judges. Simon Cowell did not admit to being mislead by his first impression, stating that "the moment you walked on the stage I knew we were in for an extraordinary performance... (Whatever..!) ...he knew that Miss Boyle would give an "extraordinary performance". Bjorn Morgan said honestly: ‘That was the biggest surprise I have had in three years of the show.

"You said you wanted to be like Elaine Paige and everyone laughed at you. You have proved them wrong."

Dannii Minogue added ‘I am just thrilled. I think we were all guilty of being cynical before. It was a complete privilege to hear you.’

In an economic climate where the theme for many is depression, fear of job losses, bad debt, financial worries and all the rest of it, Susan Boyle unleashes a beam of light infused with hope and joy for the future. Looking like she was going to another contender for the "Britain's Got More Talent" after show flops she walked on stage, reinforced this perception by being a bit whacky and then proceeded to blow my nuts off. Not only that Susan Boyle had the cash reels spinning in Cowell's eyes before she'd even reached the second word.
